Escape to the raw beauty of Mizata, El Salvador for a 5-night, 6-day yoga retreat designed to reconnect you to your body, breath, and sense of adventure. Nestled between lush mountains and the Pacific coastline, this beachfront sanctuary offers the perfect balance of restoration, movement, and exploration. Wake each morning to the sound of the ocean, flow through daily yoga sessions, and reset your nervous system with cold plunges and sauna sessions overlooking the sea. Each day blends the discipline of Bikram 60/90, Bikram 60 flow, Yin, ShapeShifting, and deep connection to nature.
Beyond the mat, immerse yourself in the magic of El Salvador through unforgettable experiences. Trek through the jungle to discover four breathtaking waterfalls and connect with local culture during a visit to a nearby village. Hike the surrounding mountains for panoramic coastal views before enjoying a picnic lunch in nature. Ride horseback along the beach at sunset, learn the flavors of the region during a hands-on cooking class, and indulge in fresh, mouthwatering meals crafted with local ingredients throughout the week.
This retreat is for those craving adventure, deep rest, meaningful connection, and the chance to fully unplug in one of Central America’s most beautiful hidden gems. Whether you come solo or with friends, you’ll leave feeling stronger, lighter, inspired, and deeply grounded.
Sarah has always been an artist at heart. Growing up in Plymouth, MA, she followed her passion for creativity to MassArt in Boston, where she studied fine art and art education. After graduating in 1999, her journey took her across the country to San Francisco, where she earned her master’s degree at the Academy of Art.
Not long after, Sarah discovered Bikram yoga—the Original Hot Yoga series—and it quickly became a transformative part of her life. In 2004, she completed her training at the Bikram Yoga College of India in Los Angeles and has been practicing and teaching ever since. She was fortunate to train and teach alongside Mary Jarvis in California, an experience that deeply shaped her teaching style. Sarah brings warmth, encouragement, and a personal touch to every class, often weaving music into the series to create an immersive experience.
Beyond Bikram, Sarah is also a certified Yin yoga instructor and has completed her 200-hour Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, Buti Yoga, and Ayurveda therapy certifications (RYT 200). Today, she shares her love of movement and mindfulness through her studio, Ganesha Hot Yoga, on the west coast of Florida in a quirky little city named St. Pete.

The afternoon invites rest and integration before an evening safari and sundowner, where the day closes with golden skies, wildlife sightings, and the quiet magic of the African plains.
Massai Immersion
Begin the day with an optional hot air balloon ride at sunrise, floating silently over the savannah, followed by breakfast and a morning immersed in culture and nature—bird safaris, free time, or a visit to a Maasai village.
After lunch, the afternoon unfolds with hands-on bead making and meaningful cultural connection with Maasai women, ending the day with a relaxed dinner under the African sky.
