Sacred Elephant Energy Retreat: Amboseli with Ganesha Hot Yoga

Amboseli National park, kenya

This immersive 7-day yoga and safari retreat unfolds from Nairobi to the wild heart of Amboseli National Park, where elephants roam freely beneath vast skies. Designed to balance intensity and integration, each day blends the discipline of Bikram 60/90, Bikram 60 flow, Yin, ShapeShifting, and deep connection to nature, culture, and community.

Your journey begins with seamless airport support, a warm welcome circle, and shared meals that set the tone for the week. As you transfer into safari country, days are shaped by sunrise and sunset game drives, walking safaris, bush dinners, and a once-in-a-lifetime hot air balloon ride over the savannah. Between safaris, you’ll move, sweat, soften, and restore—cultivating clarity, strength, and high-vibration energy.

Cultural moments—including a Maasai village visit and traditional bead making—invite reflection and connection beyond the mat. The retreat closes back in Nairobi with integration, free time, and heartfelt goodbyes, leaving you grounded, expanded, and changed.

This is not just a yoga retreat.
It’s elephant energy—felt in the body, carried home in the spirit.

Sarah has always been an artist at heart. Growing up in Plymouth, MA, she followed her passion for creativity to MassArt in Boston, where she studied fine art and art education. After graduating in 1999, her journey took her across the country to San Francisco, where she earned her master’s degree at the Academy of Art.

Not long after, Sarah discovered Bikram yoga—the Original Hot Yoga series—and it quickly became a transformative part of her life. In 2004, she completed her training at the Bikram Yoga College of India in Los Angeles and has been practicing and teaching ever since. She was fortunate to train and teach alongside Mary Jarvis in California, an experience that deeply shaped her teaching style. Sarah brings warmth, encouragement, and a personal touch to every class, often weaving music into the series to create an immersive experience.

Beyond Bikram, Sarah is also a certified Yin yoga instructor and has completed her 200-hour Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, Buti Yoga, and Ayurveda therapy certifications (RYT 200). Today, she shares her love of movement and mindfulness through her studio, Ganesha Hot Yoga, on the west coast of Florida in a quirky little city named St. Pete.
